Court Watch Program - Next training June 4, 2010!

The mission of COURT WATCH is to make the justice system more effective and responsive in handling cases of violence, particularly against women and children, and to create a more educated and informed public. Volunteers are required to participate for a minimum of four (4) hours or one court call. If you are interested in participating, please complete the application below. You may also print an application and submit it to

In order to ensure that COURT WATCH volunteers have no conflict of interest and/or are assigned properly to watch various court proceedings, we ask that you provide information about any contact you have had with the criminal or civil justice systems. An active criminal charge disqualifies one from a volunteer/intern position; however, prior criminal conviction or charges are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. This information is confidential. In addition to a thorough criminal check, we will perform a reference check on all applicants.
